THE MISSION

With the implementation Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) rules in college sports, a new frontier opened up for student-athletes. In order to capitalize on it, they needed a combination of strategy, design, and messaging to get their vision off the ground and start generating revenue. For Isaiah Foskey of Notre Dame, this meant creating an inspirational lifestyle brand based on a mantra his father Terry created throughout Isaiah's childhood. Our mission was to help Isaiah, Terry, and the rest of his family create the structure around this mantra and create a full-fledged brand around it.

THE OUTCOME

We designed the IF Factor visual identity from the ground up, first building out a creative brief and messaging to guide the design process. After capturing the essence of IF Factor in discovery sessions, we created a new logo and brand style guidelines infused with the energy and determination that has defined Isaiah's journey.

THE IMPACT

With Isaiah being one of the first college athletes in the country to build a brand of this nature, he drew a significant amount of visibility across Twitter and Instagram in particular. The IF Factor did over $7,000 in sales in the two days following Isaiah announcing his return for his senior season at Notre Dame.
