Miles Sanders: Reimagining The Athlete Brand

THE MISSION

While some professional athletes reap the benefits of major endorsement deals, most see little-to-no sponsorship money throughout their careers. They might get a minute percentage of the league revenue from officially licensed merchandise, but that's usually where it stops. Our mission was to help Miles establish a personal brand that would grant him control over his image, let him provide exclusive offers to his fans, and allow him to create an additional revenue stream.

THE OUTCOME

We designed Miles Sanders' visual identity from the ground up, capturing his personality on and off the field with a new logo and brand style guidelines. We then created custom merchandise to be sold on Miles' website, developed a social media strategy for building and growing exclusive fan pages, and integrated social accounts with his website to create a seamless buying experience.

THE IMPACT

Since launching his brand, Miles sold over $40,000 of merchandise in the first 16 months, and his dedicated fan pages grew to over 15,000 followers. This gave us a highly segmented raving fan group to engage with for future product releases and minimized marketing expenses.
